Salmon Memories of Australia

When me and my partner lived in Australia, Salmon was on the menu at least once a week. This recipe reminded me of that, and I’m gonna have to get my partners recipe for the glazed salmon to share with you later. This recipe is pretty simple I used the jarred garlic half the time, but if you keep it fresh, its seriously worth it. I don’t care what anyone else says.

Baked Salmon with Asparagus:

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (about 4-6 ounces each)
1 bunch asparagus spears (about 1 pound)
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Arrange asparagus spears around the salmon.
Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and asparagus.
Sprinkle minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper on top.
Lay lemon slices on each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.
